Programmes Grounded in Scientific Research

The programmes offered by Mind-Body Wellbeing are based on published research from Harvard and Massachussetts Medical Schools. The programme leader, Dr Caroline Horwath PhD (Dept of Community Medicine, Adelaide University), has 25 years experience working in the fields of lifestyle change and health promotion.

Dr Caroline Horwath's extensive scientific expertise, and depth of experience and understanding of mind-body medicine enable her to facilitate highly effective lifestyle change programmes that integrate the science and art of enhancing wellbeing.

2011 Programmes

Now available: Individual Wellness programmes: tailored to meet your unique needs.

Each client receives FREE:

- 20 min phone consultation prior to session 1 regarding the changes you would like to experience in your wellbeing and the skills most suited to enabling you to achieve this.
- assessment of your physical & psychological wellbeing prior to your first session, & again after a period of practicing your new skills.
- 5 page preliminary reading to enable you to get the most from practicing your new skills.
- email support between sessions including tips/reminders to assist you in integrating your new skills into your life.
- the opportunity to ask questions between sessions regarding how to practice your new skills.
You select the number and timing of sessions best suited to your needs.
Sessions can help you with any of the following: reduce stress, anxiety, depression; reduce symptoms such as insomnia, headaches, migraines, pain, fatigue etc; enhance feelings of motivation, energy, self-acceptance; break free from dieting and avoid weight gain.

Suitable for women who want to end the guilt, deprivation and frustration of dieting. Provides women with skills to enhance physical health and psychological wellbeing, while at the same time recovering an enjoyment in eating and moving towards a healthier weight.

Enables women of all ages to develop practical skills to reduce stress, enhance psychological wellbeing and improve physical health and vitality. This programme is grounded in the latest scientific research, yet is highly practical: it energizes, motivates, inspires, helps you struggle less and enjoy life more. The programme is also a valuable complementary treatment for any chronic symptom or illness.
